Midtown Athletic Club had decided to build the world's largest health club and create something that people had never seen before. To compete with boutique studios, Midtown had to transform its facilities.

After

From bland to BAM, Midtown Athletic Club members are immersed in sight and sound that inspire and motivate. Unlike any other club in the U.S., Midtown created its own boutique and culture.  From yoga to the ride studio, boxing to Pilates, and small to open group training, each room is designed independently of the next with sights and sounds that can be controlled from a single tablet or smart phone.

bEFORE

As Club members change their routines and interests, a health club must keep up with its member’s needs. Spin studios come in all sizes. From a 10-station to a 60-station room, either can create the same member experience. 

After

Midtown Athletic Club transformed a small studio to replicate it’s larger, 60 station spin studio while giving members a similar experience as in the larger studio.  Any space can be scaled to create a sensory experience encompassing sight, sounds and an emotional response.  This 20-station studio was transformed to off-set member demand without compromising their experience.
